research and planning: double page spread analysis

This spreads' text has been set into three columns to give s much information to the readers as possible. The big 'L' (for Lady Gaga) over the text breaks up the big chunk of text to not look as boring. The large picture on one side of the page of Lady Gaga in a medium close up, and when you see what shes wearing automatically makes you interested in what the story is about. The meaning of this spread in this magazine is to promote her tour 'born this way ball'. As the full spread is quite simplistic, all black and white gives off an adult effect, an the style of the text is not like an interview it is a formal text, there is a lot of language suited for adults and the picture as well is aimed at adults. As there isn't a title for this page suggests that she doesn't need a title because of how famous she is, just 'Lady Gaga' as a small masthead so people know who this is.
